Uncle Celal is 74 years old and he lives in the Beydili village.
When he was 22, he finished his military service and returned home. The sad part is that, when he arrived home, he saw his own house burning in flames.
After the fire had been put out, there was nothing left. He was very poor. One day, on sacrifice holiday, he saw a beautiful girl and he fell in love. He wanted to marry her. But he couldn’t manage to organize his own wedding ceremony because of the lack of money. Therefore, he was very angry.
He decided that it would be a good idea to kidnap her and so he did that. They went into a cave somewhere in the mountains and slept there.
The next day, they went back to the village to Celal’s house because she couldn’t go back to her house. In the meantime, the girl’s family was very upset and called the police. Then, the police found her at Celal’s house.
As she was 15 years old, the police took her to her parents and poor Celal was arrested and, so, he spent 2 full days in prison.
The court decided that they could marry and, so, they lived 42 beautiful years together. After 42 years, his wife died and Celal’s heart turned to black.
